The other photos from the Belfegor stable were taken in 2006. You will find foals from that season and a few other horses. All photos are black and white. I remember it was my favorite form of expression back then. Nowadays, I appreciate color more in photos and I think the real art is being able to play with color and light.

Pamiętam, że to była wtedy moja ulubiona forma ekspresji. Obecnie bardziej cenię sobie kolor na zdjęciach i myślę, że prawdziwą sztuką jest umieć bawić się kolorem i światłem.
I find it very difficult to choose a color scheme, a dominant color or a combination of contrasting elements. Added to this is post-production, i.e. editing photos in graphic programs. Dobranie kolorystyki, koloru dominuącego lub połączenie elementów kontrastujących wydaje mi się teraz bardzo trudne. Do tego dochodzi postprodukcja czyli edytowanie zdjeć w programach graficznych. Cały czas szukam mojej własnej drogi wyrażania siebie poprzez fotografię. Niestety nie widzę tego tak jak kiedyś. Wiele lat temu po prostu wchodziłam między konie na pastwisku, siedziałam tam z nimi godzinami i zdjęcia powstawały naturalnie…
But I miss horses all the time. Not for horse riding, but more for their presence, smell and aura. Taking pictures of them is like completing my contact with them. Despite the problems with the form and technical side of photography, I keep trying and learning to edit.
Cały czas tęsknię jednak za końmi. Nie za jazdą konną, ale bardziej za ich obecnością, zapachem, aurą. Robienie im zdjęć jest jakby dopełnieniem mojego z nimi kontaktu. Pomimo problemów z formą i techniczną stroną fotografii cały czas próbuję, uczę się edycji.
The photos show a very old mare, I think her name was Aunt – Ciotka, but it is possible that I’m wrong. And also a black stable cat.
Na zdjęciach jest bardzo stara klacz, myślę, że nazywała się Ciotka, ale mogę się mylić. No i jeszcze czarny, stajenny kot.
