Ibiza! My first real Mediterranean holidays. We spent 5 days with a group of colleagues at Palladium Hotel Don Carlos in Santa Eulalia. I didn’t have much time to explore with my camera as we had different activities every day. I only found time for a short walk up the hill, from which I took pictures of the views.

I was really happy when I read that my former idol, singer Sandra, has her home exactly in Santa Eulalia. I loved her songs when I was 10-13 years old, her posters hung on the walls in my room. Back then, I remembered that she had a beautiful white house in Ibiza. Who knows, maybe she still has.

Our hotel was an adults only hotel. As a result, yes, there were no children at the swimming pool, but evening entertainment, such as a knowledge competition about world capitals, dominated. Overall it was a fairly quiet place. I will never forget the look of the guests in the hotel restaurant when it appeared wet straight from the pool, barefoot with clothes and sun glasses on, everyone knows who. Or at least those who were there with us. Of course, the savoir vivre rules said that you should come to dinner in long pants, skirts and shoes.

Views of the Palladium Hotel Don Carlos

The colors and gardens that captivated me the most in Ibiza. In the photos, white walls of houses, blue sky and lush greenery contrast beautifully. If it weren’t for the summer temperatures, I could live there.
