So far, I have visited Worcester twice, the first time in September 2018, I had more time for photos and then an extensive documentation of the cathedral was created. While walking around the cathedral, I also managed to take pictures of a few charming houses and alleys.
Worcester odwiedziłam póki co dwa razy, za pierwszym razem we wrześniu 2018 miałam więcej czasu na zdjęcia i powstała wtedy obszerna dokumentacja katedry. Podczas spaceru dookoła katedry udało mi sie także zrobić zdjęcia kliku uroczym domkom i zaułkom.

The Severn River flows through the city. The cathedral was built next to it. The river and cathedral are often photographed, lots of photos can be found on the internet.
Przez miasto przepływa Severn River. To przy niej zbudowano katedrę. Rzeka i katedra są często fotografowane, mnóstwo zdjęć można znalezc w internecie.
I captured some interesting buildings on the High Street, including The Guildhall. I visited the city at a time when there were figures of coloured giraffes in its area. You can see two examples in the pictures.
A total of 30 large giraffes and 27 calves were on display in different parts of the city. Together they formed a route for sightseeing. The giraffes were sponsored by local businesses and painted by artists, and the calves by children from local schools. The main idea was to support St. Richard’s Hospice and attracting tourists to the city. We were lucky because the next day after our visit, the giraffes were collected. They were then to be displayed in one place and then auctioned off for charity.
Uchwyciłam kilka interesujących moich zdaniem budynków na głównym deptaku, między innymi The Guildhall. Miasto odwiedziłam w czasie, kiedy na jego terenie stały figury kolorowych żyraf. Możecie zobaczyć dwa przyklady na zdjęciach.
Łącznie 30 dużych żyraf i 27 cielaczków było wystawionych w różnych częściach miasta. Tworzyły razem szlak do zwiedzania. Żyrafy były sponsorowane przez lokalne biznesy i pomalowane przez artystów, zaś cielaczki przez dzieci z okolicznych szkół. Główną ideą było wsparcie St. Richard’s Hospice i przy okazji przyciągnięcie do miasta turystów. Miałyśmy szczęście, bo następnego dnia po naszej wizycie, żyrafy zostały zebrane. Miały następnie być pokazane w jednym miejscu a póżniej zlicytowane na rzecz charity.
