There are two fountains on the 62 acre Witley Court and Gardens grounds. Both were designed by William Andrews Nesfield in the 1850s. The larger of them is a Victorian fountain depicting Perseus and Andromeda and was restored to working order by English Heritage. The fountain turns on every hour during the day and I can assure you – it is a beautiful and unforgettable view. The highest jet reaches a height of up to 30 meters. The smaller fountain called The Flora Fountain on the East Parterre is partly damaged and does not work.
